Mansi and Sujay wanted a convivial wedding ceremony filled with love and laughter. ‘Just make it fun for us,’ they said, ‘because this might be the happiest day of our lives.’ We could see the deep affection they had for each other reflected in their eyes. Seeing their innate ecstasy, our team got enthusiastic and went straight to work.
Despite their excitement, they wanted a quiet engagement because the next few days would be an extravagant affair. We set up a simple decor in a banquet hall where their closest friends and family were invited.
Our creativity flared up on the Haldi and Mehendi days. Haldi is considered one of the first functions of ritualistic cleaning and beauty treatments. Therefore, we placed two copper basins in front of a floral arch. And the function that followed was a true joy. Both Mansi and Sujay were drenched from head to toe in haldi, looking into each other’s eyes and affirming the onset of their marriage.
The Reception was a day of amusement. They had choreographed dances arranged by several friends and family members. However, we knew the show stoppers had to be on the stage with special effects and kaleidoscopic patterns running in the background. Eventually, they danced like stars that night.
No couple had waited for their wedding day as much as they did. And we couldn’t stop ourselves from setting up a flower-filled nirvana for them. It was a splendid scene when Mansi entered the mandap like an enchantress walking into a blooming oasis. The couple was so happy as they left through the floral exit wearing sunglasses.
