Akhil and Meera had always envisioned a wedding that echoed the traditions of Kerala and showed the depths of their love. Choosing us was their first step towards turning that vision into reality.
The morning sun painted the sky with hues of gold and coral, reflecting off the tranquil waters surrounding the ancient Vaikom-Shiva temple. At the temple, Akhil and Meera exchanged their wows, bound not just by tradition but by their heartfelt love for one another.
However, the festivities were far from over. As they stepped out of the temple with their family, they were embraced by a convoy of traditional Kerala boats leading the procession to a grand heritage hotel. There, under a canopy decorated with marigolds and jasmine, guests were treated to a sumptuous Sadhya – an authentic Kerala feast, served on gleaming banana leaves. The spread of flavours, from tangy pickles to sweet payasam, mirrored the vibrant emotions of the day.
In the evening, all the guests moved to the boathouse, where the ambiance was electric yet intimate. In the backdrop, there were other traditional houseboats with lanterns flickering.
Friends and family toasted to Akhil and Meera’s union, as the serenade of Kerala's backwaters played on.
We are thankful to Akhil and Meera who chose us to be a part of their dream, quintessential Kerala wedding and it became a memory to be cherished for a lifetime.
